Tampa Bay Weddings
Wedding floral design, from the aisle to the afterglow.
At the heart of every unforgettable Tampa Bay wedding is a vision brought to life through floral design. As a wedding florist in Tampa, Flor + Palma creates modern and timeless floral designs and installations, shaped around the ambiance each venue offers. We transform ceremony and reception spaces into florals that reflect your individual style and the story of your day.
Flor + Palma was founded by Carmen Raterman and Sandra Moreno, and every wedding is designed in our Tampa Bay studio. Whether you are planning an intimate civil ceremony or a full weekend celebration, we design each piece to work together: the bouquet you carry, the arch you stand under and the tables your guests gather around.
What we design
Every piece, composed as one story.
Bridal bouquets
The bouquet is the piece you carry all day and see in nearly every photograph, so we design it around you: your dress, your palette, the season and the feel of the day. It can be loose and garden-gathered or structured and classic, and it is composed to hold its shape from the first look through the last dance.
Boutonnieres and bridal accessories
Boutonnieres, corsages and other wearable flowers are designed as part of the same composition as the bouquet, so the wedding party reads as one considered look rather than a set of separate pieces.
Focal arrangements
Statement arrangements for the places guests gather and photographs are taken: the welcome table, the altar, the sweetheart table and the bar. These are the pieces that set the tone the moment people walk in.
Custom arches
Ceremony arches and floral backdrops are designed for the scale of your venue, indoors or outdoors, and for how they will be seen: from the aisle, in photographs, and from the guests' seats.
Table arrangements
Reception centerpieces and tablescapes are composed to the shape of your tables, your guest count and the lighting of the room, from low, intimate arrangements that keep conversation open to taller statements for long banquet tables.
Venue arrangements
Florals for entries, staircases, lounges and cocktail areas carry the design through the whole venue, so every space your guests move through feels like part of the same celebration.
How planning works
From first inquiry to your wedding day.
Step 1
Share the basics
Send us your wedding date, venue, ideal floral budget and, if you have one, a Pinterest board using the form below. The more we know about the setting and the feeling you want, the better our first conversation will be.
Step 2
Talk through the vision
We discuss your style, palette and how each space will be used on the day, from the ceremony to the reception, and which pieces matter most to you.
Step 3
Receive a floral proposal
We design a proposal around your budget, balancing statement pieces with the details guests see up close, so your florals feel complete rather than stretched.
Step 4
Enjoy the day
Your florals are composed in our studio and brought to life at your venue, so you can focus on the people around you.
Florida weddings
Florals that hold up in Tampa Bay weather.
Heat and humidity shape what works on a Florida wedding day, especially for outdoor ceremonies and waterfront venues. Orchids, anthurium, protea, calla lilies, lisianthus and well-hydrated garden roses hold up better than hydrangea or peonies, so we plan flower choices, placement and timing with the weather in mind.
Tell us whether your ceremony is indoors or outdoors and when it starts, and we will recommend blooms and designs that still look fresh when the reception begins.
Beyond the wedding day
Bridal showers and celebrations.
Many couples bring us in before the wedding, too. For bridal showers we offer our flower truck, where guests build their own bouquets with guidance from Sandra and Carmen, as well as custom arrangements for the bride-to-be.
Explore event florals and the flower truck, read our guide to wearable flowers, or see more of our work in the gallery.
“Last-minute civil wedding. They gladly accepted and made the most beautiful bouquet with short notice.”

When should I book my wedding florist in Tampa?
Many couples book 9–12 months ahead, especially for peak spring and fall dates. Contact us as soon as your venue and date are set to check availability.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
It depends on guest count, the number of arrangements, flower choices and installations such as arches. Share your ideal floral budget in the inquiry form, and we'll design a proposal around it.
